Artist's Cap Free Crochet Pattern

******************************************************
Here is a picture of my friend's adorable little girl modeling the hat.

******************************************************
I was playing around with my Queen of Heart's Slouchy Hat and I noticed that it made a cool looking shape if you put it on top of your head.
So I decided to make a hat like that. You can pretty much turn any slouchy hat into one of these :) Just put it on top of your head and fold a flap over in the front, then take it off and sew the band to the inner part of the hat to make it stay together. Tada! This technique should work with my Star Slouchy Hat Pattern too.

Start at the Left and sew until the green mark on the right.

*I named it Artist's Cap because it reminded me of those painters you see in the movies that are painting by a lake in the park LOL*

Thanks for the design. I kind of combined two of your patterns to make a hat for my niece. I could not buy the pattern for the queen of hearts so I made up my own heart pattern and then combined with the artist hat! I made it in blue and red, and the niece absolutely loved it! Thanks again.
