Lembas Bread Leaf Wrapper (the Lord of the Rings)

I wanted to make something from the Lord of the Rings so bad. (I love those movies so much. It's an obsession hehe ;D ) I got the great idea to make leaf wraps for the Lembas Bread. I just thought it looked really cool. (Yah I'm a huge geek :P) Plus with Valentine's day coming up wouldn't that make an awesome gift wrap? ;) What do you think?

I used the picture on this site to make it, just so I could visually get the shape down since in the movie they didn't really show it all unwrapped or it flashed by so quickly I couldn't see.

Please refrain from the *it looks like male parts* jokes. Yes I know, but that is the shape it is supposed to be. It is a leaf that can wrap around to hold things, it needs to be long.
Thanks for looking :D

Fashion Doll Mermaid, Clam Chair, and Goldfish Friend

My Daughter loves mermaids so it was all a matter of time before I ended up making one. I did a search and couldn't find any I liked. The tails were all weird, so I ended up making my own. Then I couldn't stop there. I made her a Clamshell Chair and of course her mermaid had to have a friend. (orange is my daughter's favorite color so I made a goldfish) Then when I was done I got to thinking. Have you ever seen a goth mermaid? So I just had to make one. It was so fun I made another one to join her. I used the Twilight dolls Victoria and Alice. (Vampire Mermaids lol)

My Husband bought me Roses last night! He is so sweet. So I had to play with them hehe. It's the photographer in me ;) I replaced the old picture with this one because I liked it better.

Trade/Swap

I recently did a swap with pixelledanddead on Deviant Art. I adore her artwork. She is a very talented woman. She saw my rainbow pony and really wanted one. I don't sell my dolls so I suggested a trade. I wanted a picture of me crocheting, with a fox in the picture, and some rainbows. I wanted to ask her to add my daughter too but I was afraid that would be too much to ask. I was already being really pushy with details and I hate it when people are like that with me. It makes the project not fun anymore. She agreed and surprised me and put my daughter in too ;D I am so happy with the picture. It really is amazing. Here is a link

This is what I made her in return:

Sledding Hat

I was sledding with my daughter and when we went down the hill I got a face full of snow so I thought I should make a hat with a face mask. I also wanted earflaps because it is cold, but I wanted to be able to put my hair out the top too. I am not a morning person so this saves me time when I have to get my daughter ready for school hehe. I still have to wear a scarf with this but scarfs never stay up for me and this way it doesn't have to :) I especially love how I can take the face mask off whenever I want. I have the pattern for $3 in my Etsy Shop if anyone is interested.

and since I can't get hair to go through the top on my mannequin I had to model. It isn't the greatest pic but it works lol

Some lady saw my hat and wanted one in Rasta colors. She told me she would pay me $45 for it so I said "Sure!" she wanted it to be a little slouchier than mine. When I finished it I couldn't get a hold of her. It makes me mad. From now on I am just making patterns.

This pattern hasn't been tested yet. I wanted to get it up before Christmas. If you run into any errors please let me know so I can fix them.
Here is the pattern for the felt pieces. It should be printed at a normal paper size. I really don't know how to make it print out perfect for everyone. I just did the best I could. I hope it helps :)
