Goblin Earflap Hat Pattern

For some reason with the colors of this hat it reminded me of a Goblin. I made this as a Yule gift for my friend Kathrine (Kathrine: you knew it was for you ;) lol) I wanted to make a hat that was long enough for a scarf but wasn't super bulky toward the top of the hat. The tail is skinnier than the other hats I have made in the past. I like it. Less time to make lol. What do you think? Doctor Who Crochet Bag

Here is one of the large projects I have been working on. (well large for me since it is all single crochet) I have been working on it off and on since June. I have a short attention span lol. What do you think?

Hook Size: H hook
(2) 7 oz skeins of main color yarn

With main bag color: Form a Magic Circle (AKA: Adjustable Ring) (you could also just form a circle how you normally would) Ch 1
Rnd 1: 10 sc in ring, insert marker, Do not join with 1 ss.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (20)
Rnd 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (30)
Rnd 4: *2 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (40)
Rnd 5: *3 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (50)
Rnd 6: *4 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (60)

Sew straps together
Attach yarn to where you sewed the straps and sc around the edge repeat the same on the other side (this makes the trim look smoother, also you could make the trim a different color for an added effect)
Sew button on and make your loop however you want. I just chained 10 and attached a loop to the back. I think I might make a thicker loop later.

Cutie Kitty Pattern

My daughter loves cats. So I made this for her. Right now she is learning how to read and there is something called RAZ-Kids that she does on the computer for school. She can gain levels by reading the stories they have. When she reads she gains points. A bar will fill up just like an experience bar in a video game. I have been crocheting her stuff for every level she gets. A star or a ball whatever color she wants. She seems to like that. She is on her last level so I wanted to make her something special so I came up with this. She named it Cutie. So now she has to work hard so she can play with it. Motivation is key ;D Also I can make one of these in about 2 hours, depending on how distracted I am. I am thinking I will make a whole bunch more in different colors for stocking suffers ;) I didn't add a nose or mouth because it looked so cute with just eyes. If I do one in another color I might add to it. It's kinda hard to get details on a black stuffed animal. What do you think? Fallen Star Slouchy Hat Pattern

Like I said before I am not that great at picking names for a hat, I chose Fallen Star because it was a black star. Yah I know it's corny lol. Anyways, I have been meaning to make another slouchy hat pattern with a star, now that I know so much more about writing patterns and crochet in general. You never stop learning ;) This is what I came up with. It is so comfy. Great for bad hair days. (or in my case when I take my daughter to school. I'm not a morning person. This way I don't have to brush my hair. shhhh don't tell anyone) It is warm but not too warm and people don't expect you to take your hat off because it is "stylish" hehe. I think it is my favorite hat right now :) I loved it so much I made another one with glow in the dark yarn. I can't wait to wear it to the bar. Mocha Slouchy Delight Hat Pattern

I ran out of ideas for hat names, so I just decided to make one up that sounded exotic. The hat is brown, I was craving Coffee and Chocolate, so the name was born haha. I needed a new winter hat but I didn't want a plain one. I wanted texture. So I came up with this. What do you think? I have the pattern for sale in my Etsy Shop for $3.00 if anyone is interested. Mother Earth Crochet Doll

This is my latest creation. I love her. Her body is stuffed with Rice and the Earth is stuffed with Rice and Lavender. Getting her shaped just right was a bit of a challenge but I did it. I wanted to get more detailed with the eyes but she is only 7 inches tall so that was difficult. Once I put the felt on her though I realized it was the perfect face and I wouldn't want it any other way :D I tried to make her look like a tree, brown on the bottom and green on top. I felt that was appropriate ;) I have been wanting a Goddess statue for a long time now but for some reason I didn't even think to make one. The pattern for sale in my Etsy shop for $5.20. The pattern is 9 pages long with pictures. What do you think?

Earthy Witch Hat

Oh what a summer it has been this year. I hope you all had a wonderful time :)

Here is my newest creation. This year I was considering dressing up as a witch for Halloween. I was looking at what other people came up with for witch hats and I decided I really didn't want to take the classic route. The points are too long and the brim is too wide. I wanted to be able to wear it more than just Halloween. So I decided to make the top and brim shorter. This is what I came up with. I named it Earthy Witch Hat because it reminded me of bark on a tree. I can't wait to wear it hiking :) It will keep the flies away from my head and help protect against the sun :) My dad kinda gave me inspiration for this hat too. When I was little we would go on walks in the woods and he would let me wear his hat. (that is one of the fondest memories I have of him) It was a men's hat but the brim was perfect. Not too big not too small. That is kinda what I wanted to achieve with this.
