Doctor Who Doll Adjustments

Ok so a lot of people have asked me to write up a pattern for my Doctor Who doll. I finally just got my notes made into a pattern. It is actually adjustments to my Phantom of the opera doll. (I sell the pattern for the phantom doll in my Etsy Store) Here are the adjustments to that pattern:

These are the alterations to the Phantom of the Opera doll I made.

Legs:

Begin with White
Rnd 6: Switch colors to Cream
Rnd 10: Switch colors to Dark Brown

Body:

Color B is Dark Brown
Color C is White

Arms:
Do no sew on until after you attach the jacket
Color A is skin color
Color C is Tan (Jacket Color)

Collar is White

Jacket (Do not make cape)

Row 1: Ch 34, sc in 2nd Ch from hook
Row 2-31: Ch 1, sc in each sc, turn (30 rows)
Row 32: Sc around entire piece, FO
Sew jacket on then sew arms on so there is a little flap of the jacket in front. Then with Tan (Jacket color) sc around the collar, over the arms then around the whole jacket.

Use Pipe cleaners for the Glasses and eyebrows.

Forest Goblin Hat

This hat was more or less a "see if I can do it" hat. I wanted an earthy vine type of hat. I think I accomplished that :)I didn't want to do the usual cables so I played around a little. I have been so sick these last few weeks and am still not completely over it so projects might take a while for me to do and post. Thanks for being so patient. What do you think? Flower Headband Free Pattern

My daughter just got her hair cut really short. (She wanted LINK hair from the legend of Zelda) So I wanted to crochet her something more girly to wear. This is what I came up with. What do you think?

I am taking another break. Life has just gotten overwhelming lately. Once things settle down a bit I will have more projects up. If I said I would do something and I haven't gotten around to it yet please send me another message. I am working on a new organization system but it isn't 100% worked out yet.









Flower Headband

For Personal Use only

Measure your head around where the headband will go. My daughter’s head is 19 ½ inches.

*You will need Hot Glue if you don’t want to sew, I used Hot Glue :) *

Hook size: 3.25 MM

Yarn: 100% Acrylic Worsted Weight 4 ply

Abbreviations:
Rnd: round
Sc: single crochet
Dc: double crochet
Ss: slip stitch
Hdc: half double crochet
Sk: skip
FO: Fasten off


With Paddy Green or the color you are making the band.
Row 1: 3 sc in ring, ch 1, turn (3)

Row 2: 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc, 2 sc in next sc, ch 1, turn (5)

Row 3-77: 5 sc, ch 1, turn (74 rows or until you are ½ inch before the end)

Row 78: 1 sc, ch 3, sk 3, 1 sc, ch 1, turn (this is the row that will create the button hole)

Row 79: sc2tog, 1 sc, sc2tog, ch 1, turn (3)

Row 80: sc2tog, 1 sc, ss 1, FO

Attach Spring Green or the color you are using for the trim to an end, sc around entire piece.

Leaf (Make 6 or more depending on how many leaves you want and your head size)

With Tea Leaf Green

Row 1: 2 sc in ring

Row 2: 2 sc in next sc (4) ch 1, turn

Row 3-5: 4 sc, ch 1, turn (3 rows)

Sc around entire piece, ss 1, FO and set aside

FLOWER (Make 4 or more depending on how many you want and your head size)

RND 1: ch 5, join to form a ring
The following isn’t worked in each stitch; it is worked in the circle not in the stitches.
RND 2: ch 1, *1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 ss, ch 1* rep from * to * 3 more times, ss 1, FO

Assembly: Sew button on then Hot Glue the flowers and leaves on in the arrangement you want. You could sew them on but that would take longer. For extra embellishment you can glue beads in the middles of the flowers like I did.

Team Vampire Slouch Hat

I have an obsession with cables lately so don't be surprised if my next few projects have cables. I made this the night New Moon came out on DVD and I wanted to wear it while I was waiting in line at midnight haha. What better than a blood red slouchy hat? :) Like I have said before, I am not good at naming things. Team Vampire seemed appropriate for the mood was in :) What do you think?

Lucky Slouchy Hat

I wanted to have a hat for Saint Patrick's Day so I came up with this. I am really loving cables lately :) It has an Irish feel to it so I just called it Lucky Slouchy hat. (I'm not really good at naming things lol) What do you think? The pattern is available at Annie's Attic for $4.99

Child's Pixie Hat

I made myself the Dark Faery Slouch Hat so I decided to make my daughter a hat too. She is never happy with a hat unless it has a lot of Orange in it. Why does my daughter's favorite color have to be one of my least favorite colors? LOL I came up with this. It has a scarf too so now I won't have to deal with her coming home an saying another kid choked her with her scarf (hopefully). With the scarf attached it is less of a hassle to get her ready to go out. Just pull it on and it is done :) Also she shouldn't lose her hat if it falls off her head. I personally don't like the color combination but that is just me. The colors go together well, but I would have chosen some other color haha. Oh well the things we do to please our kids. Dark Faery Slouch Hat

I had a dream about this hat. I woke up and then had to make it. It is pretty much the only thing I remember about the dream besides lots of trees lol. What do you think? This pattern is now available in my Etsy shop for $3.

for some reason this hat reminds me of a witch hat. Someone else also told me it reminds them of the Lord of the Rings. Now I think of Gandalf when I look at it haha. I have been watching the movies a lot lately. Maybe it was in my subconscious or something hehe.



Here it is worn off the back of the head a little bit so it is slouchy
