Moogle Crochet Hat

My husband loves Final Fantasy games so I decided to crochet him this moogle hat. Moogles are so cute :) This hat is more of a guy's hat than a girl's hat. I don't have a guy mannequin head though and the hubby wasn't in the mood to model LOL. What do you think? Here is a pic of what a Moogle looks like for those of you who don't know. This person drew a vary good pic of it. Click Here for Pic Moogles are from the game Final Fantasy :)

I made a tutorial on how to switch colors HERE

Moogle Hat
by: AprilDraven

for personal use only

Gauge: 4 inches = 13 stitches and 14 rows
My head size is 22 and a half inches around so adjust your hook size accordingly. Remember yarn stretches a little bit so this hat will fit inches bigger too.

Yarn: regular 4 ply worsted yarn

H hook

Abbreviations:
Rnd: round
Sc: single crochet
Ss: slip stitch
FO: Fasten off

*NOTE: use a marker and work in rounds*

With Main color ch 1 or form magic circle

Rnd 1: 8 sc in ring
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (16)
Rnd 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (24)
Rnd 4: *2 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (32)
Rnd 5: *3 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (40)
Rnd 6: *4 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (48)
Rnd 7: *5 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (56)
(In round 8, 27 sc then start the chart or if you want it farther down on the hat wait until Round 12 to start the chart. I wish I would have started on round 12.)

Rnd 8: sc in each sc around
Rnd 9: *6 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (64)
Rnd 10: sc in each sc around
Rnd 11: *7 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to * around (72)
RND 12-34: sc in each sc around (19 rounds)
on the 34th round switch to trim color if you want.

*Note: you might have to do a little stretching at the end. to even the hat out. Usually it gets better after it is washed :)*

  4. Another great pattern! Sorry 2 hear that your etsy shop isn't doing to well. Have you looked into Artfire.com? It's another storefront site. You can sell stuff for free w/ a basic membership or upgrade to a premium account for $12 a month. That's it. No hidden or listing fees at all. I'm considering it w/ all this crochet stuff I have stockpiled around here. Need to get a mannequin head 1st though!

  7. Loosing Weight is not an easy task. Many people trying to lose weight have been on numerous diets and have tried just about every "fad diet" that has been around.
