Cosmo the Crochet Dragon

I wanted to make a large Dragon. This one turned out bigger than I had intended 33 inches long.

    I'm working on this pattern now(it's awesome!!!) but I'm having some issues with the fingers and toes. Specifically the flaps around the outside. I'm not exactly sure how to execute them. The pics give me a vague idea but I'm a little stumped on how to crochet into the sides of the fingers and toes. Any extra explanation or pics would be greatly appreciated.

    I am so very happy with this pattern! My grandson said he wanted me to crochet him a dragon for his birthday, and I remembered purchasing this pattern. I'm busy working on him now, and I'll blog about him and link back to you when I'm finished. He is amazing!

    I found someone with this dragon crocheted it looks too close to yours. I know you can buy the pattern. But the person on deviant art says she does not follow any patterns. I do know people can buy your Cosmo the dragon pattern... I did. And in the content before the pictures it says in bold lettering for personal use only.
    I am very sceptical her.
